IMTECH ICT starts European Competence Center for Social Software as a strategic part of it’s business in Germany, Belgium, Austria, United Kingdom and The Netherlands.
No this is not an official press release but just a regular blog item, why…..because i just can do using social software like blogging :-)
But nevertheless the headline is correct, over several countries we are starting up a business strategy line for Social Software & Collaboration in order to stimulate collaboration, exchange resources and knowledge, business and product development.
We think Social Software is still in an early phase, or in the beginning of the Gartner Hype Cycle, and we expect it to grow over the coming years towards a more mature situation of collaborative business use for BtoB and BtoC activities.
We see Social Software as our little puppy, we adapted it, we fell in love with it and therefore we now help it grow to be one of our best friends for the next decade or so.
Oh yeah, eat your own dog-food is what they say…..we are currently implementing a Social Software solution over Europe for 1.700 employees and actively implementing NWOW (New Way of Work) for several businesses starting now.
